Garudasana, or the Eagle Pose, is a balancing posture that involves wrapping one leg around the other and intertwining the arms in a similar fashion. This posture aims to enhance joint flexibility, particularly in the knees, ankles, wrists, and elbows. It also works on improving balance, concentration, and strengthening the legs and calves.

Initial Setup: Start in a standing position, then slightly bend the knees.

The Bind: Wrap one leg around the other while simultaneously intertwining the arms.

Stability & Alignment: Engage the core and keep the spine straight to support balance.

Drishti (Focus): Fix the gaze on a single, stationary point to maintain stability.

Mental Clarity: Cultivates and enhances concentration and sharp mental focus.

Lower Body Strength: Strengthens the thighs, calves, and ankles.

Joint Mobility: Boosts flexibility, specifically targeting the knees and ankles.

Stress Reduction: Balances the nervous system to help alleviate stress.
